Baseball Recap: Randolph Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Randolph won the last time they faced Cole and things went their way on Friday too. The Ro-Hawks walked away with a 6-2 win over the Cougars. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Ro-Hawks.

Randolph pushed their record up to 8-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cole, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Randolph will challenge Marion at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Ro-Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Cole, they will face off against Jourdanton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Indians/Squaws will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
