Football Recap: Mariner Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Mariner couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 13-0 to the East Bay Indians on Wednesday. The Tritons have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Mariner's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for East Bay, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Mariner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Bay, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Tampa Bay Tech at 7:00 p.m. The Titans' defense has only allowed 8.5 points per game this season, so the Indians' offense will have their work cut out for them.
