Basketball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Forestburg

Forestburg had won five straight games and Jesus Sanchez did his part to make it six on Tuesday. The Forestburg Longhorns strolled past the Bellevue Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 64-49 thanks in part to Sanchez, who posted 30 points. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kyler Willett, who scored 15 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played.

Forestburg is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Bellevue, their loss dropped their record down to 7-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forestburg will host Midway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bellevue, they will welcome Saint Jo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
