Volleyball Recap: Greenbrier Falls Short of Shiloh Christian in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Greenbrier can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Shiloh Christian Saints on Tuesday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Saints earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Shiloh Christian was led to victory by Kennedy Brown and Bristol Bonanno. Brown had eight digs and three aces, while Bonanno had 15 digs. Brown is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Greenbrier's loss dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Shiloh Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-14-1 record this season.

Greenbrier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shiloh Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Farmington on the 29th.
