Basketball Recap: Oroville Piles Up the Points Against Pateros

After only 29 points in their last contest, Oroville made sure to put some points up on the board against Pateros on Tuesday. The Oroville Hornets took their matchup with ease, bagging a 57-28 victory over the Pateros Billygoats/Nannies. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Hornets' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Oroville's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-6. As for Pateros, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oroville will square off against Entiat at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Oroville is facing Entiat at the right time seeing as Entiat is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Pateros has already played their next game (against Cascade Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
