Volleyball Recap: Center Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Center was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mira Loma last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Wheatland Pirates on Tuesday. The Cougars have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11, 25-15.

Center's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Wheatland, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Center will challenge rival Bear River at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wheatland is set to square off against their familiar foe Oakmont at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
