Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fredericksburg Christian, Trinity Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves. This was payback for the Gryphons, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Trinity Christian was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-13, 21-25, 25-19.

Trinity Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Saint John Paul the Great Catholic, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian will take on Potomac School at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saint John Paul the Great Catholic, they will square off against Oakcrest at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
