Baseball Recap: Danbury's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Woodmore, Danbury was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Port Clinton Redskins get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Lakers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The result came thanks to Logan Shepherd's shutout, as he gave up just two hits.

On the hitting side, Logan Lucas was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

The victory snapped Danbury's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-5 record. As for Port Clinton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Danbury will square off against Calvert at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Port Clinton, they will take on Woodmore at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
