Basketball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Lee County

Lee County had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They strolled past the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets with points to spare, taking the game 57-42. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-43 last Monday.

Lee County pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points over those games. As for Williamsburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Coming up, Lee County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against East Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Williamsburg, they will take on Lincoln County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
