Baseball Game Preview: Coventry Comets vs. Streetsboro Rockets

Coventry is 2-8 against Streetsboro since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Comets will venture away from home to challenge the Rockets at 5:00 p.m. Coventry has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Coventry came up short against Field on Tuesday, falling 18-1.

Coventry saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braxton Leasure, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, Streetsboro lost 15-1 to Woodridge on Tuesday.

Coventry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Streetsboro, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Coventry was able to grind out a solid win over Streetsboro in their previous matchup on April 2nd, winning 10-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
