Soccer Game Preview: Vallejo vs. Benicia

The Vallejo Redhawks will venture away from home to take on the Benicia Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Benicia took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Vallejo, who comes in off a win.

Vallejo hadn't beaten Rodriguez on the road since December 19, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. The Redhawks walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mustangs.

Vallejo hit Rodriguez with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from JARED PINEDA, SEBASTIAN CRUZ MEDINA, and ARTURO VIRGEN.

Meanwhile, Benicia didn't have quite enough to beat Vintage on Tuesday and fell 2-1. The loss put an end to Benicia's undefeated start to the season.

The win got Vallejo back to even at 1-1. As for Benicia, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.
