Middleton had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Bishop Kelly Knights 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Middleton never let Bishop Kelly on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 29-27.

When it comes to explaining why Bishop Kelly lost, don't look at Caroline Monahan. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs and one assist. With that strong performance, Monahan is now averaging an impressive 10.3 digs per game.

Middleton's win bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Bishop Kelly, they moved to 11-10 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
