Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Out-of-Door Academy). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cambridge Christian Lancers on Thursday, sneaking past 48-46. This was a revenge game for the Thunder: when they faced off against the Lancers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 44-33 loss.

Out-of-Door Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elle Miller, who posted 14 points and five assists. Those 14 points gave Miller a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Jobe, who earned eight points in addition to ten rebounds and three steals.

Miller wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Out-of-Door Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Out-of-Door Academy's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-11. As for Cambridge Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7.
