 Scott's game  last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Harrison County Thorobreds by a score of  9-4. This was payback for Scott, who suffered  a  7-1  loss the last time these two teams met.
  Porter Huston was  incredible,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Drew Grindstaff, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 On Harrison County's side,  Eli Phelps was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits. Phelps was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Phelps wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Cliffy Mcllvain, who  went 1-for-5 with two  stolen bases and  an  RBI.
 Scott now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Harrison County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Scott will head out on the road to  square off against  Villa Madonna at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Scott is facing Villa Madonna at the right time seeing as Villa Madonna is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Harrison County, they will be playing at home against Henry Clay at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Harrison County's favor as the  team sits on 12 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Henry Clay has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
