Ithaca waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Hemlock Huskies get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Yellowjackets have won by just one run.

Ithaca's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Carsen Shankel, who went 1-for-3 with one double. Landon Bratschi also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Ithaca's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Hemlock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Ithaca has already played their next game (against Central Montcalm), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hemlock, they will welcome Beaverton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
