Basketball Recap: Parkers Prairie's Run of Six Straight Wins Now Over

After flying high against Benson last Saturday, Parkers Prairie came back down to earth. The Parkers Prairie Panthers took a 73-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Warriors on Tuesday. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Parkers Prairie's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8. As for Wheaton/Herman-Norcross, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkers Prairie will venture away from home to face off against Underwood at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Underwood will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Parkers Prairie surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wheaton/Herman-Norcross, they are taking a road trip to challenge Ashby at 7:15 p.m. on February 4th.
