Baseball Recap: Bruton Comes Up Short

Bruton lost against New Kent back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Bruton might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-1 to New Kent, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bruton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Ho, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Bruton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for New Kent, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bruton will venture away from home to face off against York at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for New Kent, they will square off against Midlothian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
