Recap: Kings Christian Crusaders vs. Laton Mustangs
The Kings Christian Crusaders can now show off 17 landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Laton 60-26 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-12.
It was another big night for Ronnie Roche, who scored 32 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Kings Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Trey Brouwer, who scored seven points along with 15 rebounds and three blocks.
Despite the loss, Laton still got an impressive performance from Johnathan Garcia, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Garcia has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played.
The win makes it two in a row for Kings Christian and bumps their season record up to 21-2. As for Laton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
Kings Christian will be playing at home against Woodlake at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Laton, they will head out on the road to challenge Wonderful College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
