Volleyball Recap: Spruce Creek Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Spruce Creek can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Forest Wildcats on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hawks have suffered since September 25th.

Khloe Jackson paced Spruce Creek's offense, picking up seven kills. Jackson got some help from Camryn Buckley and her ten assists.

Forest found their leader in sophomore Addison Owens, who had ten digs and one assist.

Spruce Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Forest, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-9.

Spruce Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Forest, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against DeLand on the 16th.
