Softball Recap: Fremont Comes Up Short

Saratoga hit Fremont with a six-run fourth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Firebirds came up short against the Falcons, falling 14-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Fremont saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tehya Williamson, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Fremont and nudges their season record down to 6-12. As for Saratoga, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

As of now, neither Fremont nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
