Basketball Game Preview: Battle Lake Battlers vs. Brandon/Evansville Chargers

Battle Lake is 8-2 against Brandon/Evansville since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Battle Lake Battlers will host the Brandon/Evansville Chargers at 7:15 p.m. Battle Lake is looking for their season's first win.

Last Tuesday, Battle Lake lost to Hancock on the road by a 64-45 margin.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Brandon/Evansville ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They walked away with an 80-70 victory over Underwood. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.

Brandon/Evansville's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points per game. As for Battle Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 0-18.
