Football Recap: Pembroke Takes a Loss

Pembroke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Plymouth Bobcats, falling 48-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 48-12 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Pembroke's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Plymouth, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pembroke will welcome Hollis-Brookline at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Spartans will be up against the Cavaliers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Plymouth, they will take on Souhegan at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Sabers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
