Volleyball Game Preview: Franklin Knights vs. Greenville Trojans

Franklin is 0-3 against Greenville since September of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Knights will venture away from home to take on the Trojans at 7:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Franklin came up short against Mercer on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Franklin had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Greenville didn't have quite enough to beat Hickory on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Franklin, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Franklin couldn't quite get it done against Greenville when the teams last played back in September of 2023 as they fell 3-1. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
