Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Roosevelt). They walked away with an 81-70 victory over the Lakeside Knights on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Raiders who have now won four matches in a row.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Preston SpottedHorse, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 15 points in addition to seven assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Tyson Charley, who went 7 of 16 en route to 18 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.

Lake Roosevelt is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points per game. As for Lakeside, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-5.

Lake Roosevelt and Lakeside should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. Lake Roosevelt (ranked 47th) will meet Omak (ranked 219th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Roosevelt is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
