Football Game Preview: Manitowoc Lincoln Ships vs. Sheboygan South Redwings + Official Tickets

The Manitowoc Lincoln Ships will head out to take on the Sheboygan South Redwings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Manitowoc Lincoln will be strutting in after a win while Sheboygan South will be coming in after a defeat.

Manitowoc Lincoln took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Green Bay East by a score of 20-12. The Ships' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Sheboygan South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 42-10 defeat at the hands of Menasha. While losing is never fun, the Redwings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Bluejays are ranked 111th).

Sheboygan South's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Manitowoc Lincoln, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Everything went Manitowoc Lincoln's way against Sheboygan South when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Manitowoc Lincoln made off with a 36-13 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ships since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
