Avery posted their biggest win since November 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 63-27 victory over the Avinger Indians. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 55-24 by the end of the third, a deficit the Indians had no chance of recovering from.

Despite the loss, Avinger saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kendyn Moore posted 17 points.

Avery has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points per game. As for Avinger, they dropped their record down to 1-20 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Avery will take on Sulphur Bluff at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive. As for Avinger, they will challenge Union Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
