Soccer Game Preview: East Hamilton vs. Cleveland

The East Hamilton Hurricanes will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Cleveland Blue Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Hamilton's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for East Hamilton's offense. They fell 2-0 to Hixson last Thursday. That's two games in a row now that East Hamilton have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Cleveland made easy work of Jefferson County on Sunday and carried off a 6-1 victory. Cleveland might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by three goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Cleveland and bumps their season record up to 4-2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two contests. As for East Hamilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went East Hamilton's way against Cleveland in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as East Hamilton made off with a 3-0 win. Will East Hamilton repeat their success, or does Cleveland has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
