Soccer Game Preview: Kalida vs. Bluffton

The Kalida Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Bluffton Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kalida is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Monday. Kalida came out on top against Kenton by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but Kalida sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Owen Grime and Landon Verhoff scored all three of Kalida's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Bluffton after they claimed the first goal on Saturday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Celina by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Bluffton couldn't push the score so high this time.

Kalida's victory bumped their record up to 10-2-4. As for Bluffton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9-3.
