While McCann Tech put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Mount Everett Regional. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 23-0 margin over the Eagles. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was McCann Tech's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Mount Everett Regional, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, McCann Tech will square off against Hoosac Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mount Everett Regional, they will challenge Drury at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
