Baseball Recap: St. John's Christian Academy Takes Down Spartanburg Christian Academy in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. John's Christian Academy had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors by a score of 6-1.

The team relied heavily on Jacob Glover, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Dinkens, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

St. John's Christian Academy pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

As of now, neither St. John's Christian Academy nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
