Woodward Academy had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Midtown Knights. This was a revenge game for the War Eagles: when they faced off against the Knights last Saturday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

Woodward Academy was led to victory by Lotus Jiroch and Eva Leroux. Jiroch had 13 digs and five assists, while Leroux had eight digs. That's the most digs Jiroch has posted over her last eight games.

Woodward Academy's victory bumped their record up to 25-4. As for Midtown, they moved to 23-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
