Baseball Recap: Beaverton Comes Up Short

Beaverton blew Southridge out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Southridge got their revenge. The Beavers fell just short of the Skyhawks by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Beavers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Beaverton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Southridge, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.

While Beaverton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
