Burnet's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Austin Achieve as Burnet made off with a 4-0 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lago Vista won against Northeast Early College on Friday with three goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. Lago Vista had just enough and edged Gateway College Preparatory out 3-2.

Burnet is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 46 goals over those nine matchups. As for Lago Vista, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
