Volleyball Recap: Branham Finds Playoff Glory Versus Ripon Christian

With a playoff win on the line, Branham rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Ripon Christian Knights with a sharp 3-0 win.

The victory didn't come easy: Ripon Christian scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-19.

Andrew Casale paced Branham's offense, picking up ten kills. Casale got some help from Patrick Willson and his 28 assists. Martin Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Branham's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-10. As for Ripon Christian, they moved to 27-10 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Branham will challenge Leigh at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Longhorns will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Bruins surely won't give up without a fight. Ripon Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
