Softball Recap: Spokane Comes Up Short

Spokane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Early Panthers, falling 18-3. The Owls were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in March of 2017.

Spokane saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilly Carr, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Spokane's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Early, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Spokane will venture away from home to face off against Crane at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Early, they will host Buffalo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
