Volleyball Recap: Pine Tree Takes a Loss

Pine Tree lost against Lufkin back in September of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Pine Tree's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Lufkin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

Pine Tree wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Pleasant Grove on the 30th. As for Lufkin, they will take on Whitehouse at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
