Football Recap: Gage Park Takes a Loss

Gage Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 42-0 to DuSable/Tilden/Air Force Academy, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Fighting Owls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as DuSable/Tilden/Air Force Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Gage Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for DuSable/Tilden/Air Force Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Gage Park will square off against rival Chicago Washington at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, DuSable/Tilden/Air Force Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Kelly at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
