Volleyball Recap: Cypress Creek Takes a Loss

Cypress Creek's tournament run continued when they took on East Lake on Saturday. The Coyotes fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Despite the loss, Cypress Creek saw an underclassman step up: freshman Charlotte Spinner had seven digs and two aces. Amirah Fougere also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Cypress Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for East Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 18-3.

Cypress Creek has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against North Tampa Christian Academy on the 6th. As for East Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sickles on the 4th.
