Volleyball Game Preview: Perryton Rangers vs. Randall Raiders + How To Watch

Perryton hasn't had much luck against Randall recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Rangers will take on the Raiders at 12:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Perryton turned things around against Borger on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs.

The victory didn't come easy: Borger scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-22, 25-27, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Randall posted their closest win since August 30th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Hereford 3-2. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Whitefaces recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Randall took Hereford into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 29-27, 20-25, 25-6, 15-9.

Perryton's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 8-18. As for Randall, their victory bumped their record up to 16-11.

Perryton couldn't quite get it done against Randall when the teams last played back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Rangers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
