Soccer Recap: Uwharrie Charter Academy Takes a Loss

Uwharrie Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 10-1 to the Southwestern Randolph Cougars. That's two games in a row now that Uwharrie Charter Academy have lost by exactly nine goals.

Uwharrie Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Southwestern Randolph, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Uwharrie Charter Academy will face off against rival North Moore at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Southwestern Randolph is set to square off against their familiar foe Eastern Randolph at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
