Volleyball Recap: Evangel Christian Academy Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Evangel Christian Academy won the last time they faced Cotopaxi and Bailey Roberts did her part to make sure it happened again. The Eagles blew past the Pirates 3-0 on Saturday thanks in part to Roberts, who had 13 digs and six aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Evangel Christian Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-4, 25-16, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Cotopaxi still got an impressive performance from Riley Swann, who had 13 digs.

Evangel Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Cotopaxi, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Coincidentally, Evangel Christian Academy and Cotopaxi will both be playing Deer Trail the next time they take the court. The Pirates will head out to face the Eagles at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
