Basketball Game Preview: Loudonville Redbirds vs. Northmor Golden Knights

The Loudonville Redbirds will challenge the Northmor Golden Knights at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Saturday, Loudonville was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 55-54 to Tuslaw.

Meanwhile, Northmor entered their tilt with Centerburg on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They secured a 56-52 W over the Trojans.

Loudonville better keep an eye on Aj Bower. He was instrumental in Northmor's win, going 6 for 12 on his way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bodden Landin, who posted seven points and seven rebounds.

Loudonville has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.9 points per game. As for Northmor, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Loudonville might still be hurting after the 77-55 defeat they got from Northmor in their previous matchup back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Northmor's Jax Wenger, who almost dropped a double-double on 28 points and nine boards.
