Baseball Game Preview: Cimarron-Memorial Spartans vs. Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars

For the second straight game, Cimarron-Memorial will face off against Pinecrest Academy Cadence. The Spartans will host the Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cimarron-Memorial is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Cimarron-Memorial will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Pinecrest Academy Cadence on Monday. The Spartans were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Cougars.

In other batting news, Cayden Cavallone was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mares Kai, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Cimarron-Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-14 record this season.
