Basketball Recap: Norview Triumphs

Norview posted their closest win since December 18, 2024 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Granby Comets, sneaking past 60-57. Given the Pilots' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Comets are ranked 139th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Norview's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Granby, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.

Norview will host Indian River at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Granby, they will challenge First Colonial at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
