Basketball Recap: New London-Spicer Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the New London-Spicer Wildcats didn't have quite enough to beat the New Ulm Eagles and fell 82-79. The loss put an end to the Wildcats' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, New London-Spicer fell to 20-1. As for New Ulm, they pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, New London-Spicer will host Litchfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Ulm, they will head out to square off against St. James at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. James will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something New Ulm surely won't give up without a fight.
