Softball Game Preview: Washington Wildcats vs. Sumner Academy Sabres

For the first time this season, Washington will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will take on the Sumner Academy Sabres at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Washington's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three matches, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Washington fell victim to Shawnee Mission West and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-0 to the Vikings, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
