Baseball Recap: South Pointe Comes Up Short

A.C. Flora hit South Pointe with a five-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Stallions came up short against the Falcons, falling 11-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Stallions in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost six in a row.

South Pointe saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lance Whitaker, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

South Pointe's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for A.C. Flora, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

While South Pointe had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
