Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kimberly). They put the hurt on the Appleton West Terrors with a sharp 84-61 win on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Papermakers have posted since February 3rd.

Kimberly's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Appleton West, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kimberly will take on Oshkosh West in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kimberly knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Oshkosh West likes a good challenge. Appleton West and Fond du Lac will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fond du Lac will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Appleton West surely won't give up without a fight.
