Volleyball Recap: Kimberly Wins High-Profile Contest Against Cedarburg

Kimberly faced Cedarburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Papermakers came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Papermakers as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Kimberly was led to victory by Finley Van Lannen and Emma Tesch. Van Lannen had ten digs and two aces, while Tesch had 15 assists and three digs. Van Lannen has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Kimberly's win bumped their record up to 21-12. As for Cedarburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-10.

Looking ahead, Kimberly will take on Kaukauna at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedarburg, they will challenge Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
