Basketball Recap: Paradise Valley Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

It was a good run, but Paradise Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 74-56 bruising from the Horizon Huskies. The Trojans lost against the Huskies in their previous head to head back in January of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 82-36 score last time.

Ethan Hayes was his usual excellent self, going 7 for 14 on his way to 17 points along with seven rebounds and five assists for Horizon. Brennan Korn was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Paradise Valley's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6. As for Horizon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

When Paradise Valley and Horizon next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Paradise Valley will square off against Canyon View and their 14-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Paradise Valley is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. Similarly, Horizon will try to stop Notre Dame Prep's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
